BWA has completed the refurbishment and retrofit of three apartments in Connaught Mansions, a Victorian mansion block located in the heart of Battersea, for developer Dorrington. The previously dilapidated spaces have been sensitively overhauled and re-configured, now providing all “mod cons” and complying with current standards while still retaining most of the original fabric and historic features.

A year after completion, the Client for this residential project in Bethnal Green, designed by BWA, has settled into their new home. The property was extensively reconfigured, with an extension constructed to the rear, new rooflights, and subtle use of colour, giving a sense of space and ample natural light to all rooms.
Work on site is underway at BWA's latest residential project in Highbury. The works, involving the extensive remodelling and extension of and end-of-terrace Victorian house, are due to be completed in Autumn 2025.
We are delighted to share the news that The Marlo has been shortlisted for this years’ AJ Retrofit Award, under the category of “Positive Addition.” A celebratory dinner event will be held at The Brewery London on Wednesday 11th September, where the winners will be announced.
