Having left behind their lives in the USA, the owners fell in love with this 4-storey Grade II listed house situated on the former Lloyd Barker Estate in Islington. Barbara Weiss Architects was approached to design a house that would not only meet their present needs, but would also adapt to any future requirements. There is certainly no shortage of Barbara Weiss Architects characteristic storage solutions on every floor, with a specific focus on the clients’ vast book collection. Having reached completion of the project at the end of 2023, the clients have reported greatly enjoying their upgraded residence.
